![]() ![]() ![]() All we can tell is that a bunch of people have been banned in the last two weeks, that VAC was implemented on Jan 29th without any notice, which was given 4 days later, and that it was impossible to toggle it on/off until Feb 9th. But has anyone provided proof for what happened to them? How can they? VAC gives you no evidence, it outright bans you and Valve will never tell/show you what caused the ban. I don't see how they can re-enable the workshop/mod support, while VAC is still in the game, since it can and will flag certain mods as tampering/altering and auto-ban you, in particular mods that inject into the exe/game, like SweetFX/ENBs (because it's the same thing trainers/Cheat Engine does)Įven turning VAC off ingame doesn't seem to work all the time, been at least a few people reporting getting a ban even though they were playing singleplayer with VAC off. ![]() Techland isn't saying anything about it, so we really don't know what's going on.
